The "2012 Free Minds Film Festival" will be held September 28-30, 2012 at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Admission is free. Over the course of the weekend you are welcome to come and go for individual films and speakers or stay for all the films and lectures.

The Free Minds Film Festival uses the art of film along with guest lecturers and panels to educate people about the ideas of a free society. These ideas change the world and lead to a freer, more voluntary, and more peaceful society.

The 2 1/2 day event is designed to educate as well as encourage further discussion and learning. Films will be shown on a variety of subjects followed by presentations by experts with Q&A and evening socials to give attendees the opportunity to network and discuss the films. Socials will be held at BJ's Brewhouse on Friday and Saturday evenings (We strongly encourage registering if you plan to attend the evening socials).

This will be the second annual festival. In 2011, there were over 90 attendees and the festival was nominated by Students for Liberty as "Event of the Year" at the 2012 International Students for Liberty Conference.
