Join the Pikes Peak Arts Council, COPPeR, and the City of Colorado Springs for an evening of art and fitness. Guests join Mayor Steve Bach and local Rotarians to see a few of the pieces in this year's Butterflies and Friends collection before they are sold in auction. Each butterfly was hand painted by a local artist, instilling their own style into each piece.

Public art abounds in the Pikes Peak region. Don't miss this chance to learn more about pieces you may not have noticed before.

The walk will begin at the City Administration Building and course through city blocks of Downtown Colorado Springs.

The 5th Annual Butterflies & Friends Project is a community service initiative led by The Rotary Club of Colorado Springs to raise awareness and funding to ensure that children receive essential arts programs in school.
Juried artists transform 31 large-scale metal butterfly “templates” into original works of art. Each butterfly sculpture is displayed around the Colorado Springs downtown area from June – September.
The butterflies will be auctioned at a gala event to be held at Cheyenne Mountain Resort on September 22. Proceeds from the auction go to D11 Schools’ arts programs and the Rotary Club’s Community Service Fund.
One butterfly will be raffled on September 22. Raffle tickets cost $5 each. For raffle ticket purchase information, visit the Official Website on the right.
