    Downtown Olympic Celebration

    The Rocky Mountain State Games will feature an Opening Celebration, on Friday, July 26, Downtown Colorado Springs. This celebration will kick off Rocky Mountain State Games weekend with an athlete gathering, with a fun, festival type atmosphere!

    The Parade of Athletes will parade from Antler's Park to downtown Colorado Springs and join the Downtown Celebration. This celebration is a city wide event that will feature live entertainment and a beer garden, beach volleyball demonstrations, the RMSG 5K Finish Line, interactive booths hosted by local NGB's and food! Come join in the celebration! Please check back for more information closer to the event.

    PARKING is available at the County's Sahwatch Parking Structure (255 S. Sahwatch Street) & the Olympic Sport House (30 Cimino Drive). Athletes and spectators are encouraged to park in either of these facilities or along the streets. Parking at the County's Sahwatch Parking Structure will begin at 3:30 pm and will last until 10:00 pm. Parking at the Olympic Sport House should be available from 3:30 - 10:30 pm, the security gate will open automatically from the interior with the gates triggered by sensors when a car approaches.

    5:00 p.m. – Olympic Downtown Celebration begins Downtown Colorado Springs
    6:00 p.m. – Athletes gather for the Parade of Athletes at Antler's Park (will parade into downtown Colorado Springs, with CSPD Escorts)
    6:30 p.m. – Parade of Athletes from Antler's Park to the corner of Pikes Peak Ave. and & Tejon St. to join the Olympic Downtown Celebration
    8:00 p.m. -- Live concert in the beer garden
