Add Review/CommentDon't miss this opportunity to see what may be one of the most socially important plays now touring the world. Based on the experiences of the translators at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa after the end of apartheid, "Truth in Translation" explores the possibilities of healing after a legacy of oppression and violence. "Truth" was created by Michael Lessac with music by Hugh Masekela, the most acclaimed jazz and blues musician in Africa. An extraordinary company of South African actors and musicians tells the story of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. This moving and passionate experience, presented in partnership with Colorado College, will touch many current issues being faced in the world today. As one critic observed "this production will change the world."
