Add Review/CommentComprised of images recently discovered in a lost cache of photographic negatives, this exhibition presents Muray’s portraits of the artist Frida Kahlo. Muray, whose work appeared regularly in Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair, was a personal friend of Kahlo in the 1930s and 1940s. His photographs capture the essence of Frida Kahlo, significant people in her life and her deep interest in her Mexican heritage.
