TECO Model Train Show

Each TECO model train show features Colorado’s regional and historic railways. The September 17 & 18 historical presentation topics will be:

– Railroads of the Pikes Peak Region – MoPac, by Mel McFarland, historian, Colorado Midland Society

– Frémont – The Man and the Model, by John Campbell, SlimRail

– The Past, Present, and Future of the Union Pacific Heritage Operations, by Ed Dickens, Senior Manager of Union Pacific’s Heritage Operations and the engineer of Big Boy No. 4014

And not to be missed, the Youth in Model Railroading (YMR) group – youngsters making their way as they learn about railroad modeling. In addition to the YMR layout and sales tables, they are introducing Boxcar Races. Races will operate all day in two race classes- 5 oz. and 10 oz. boxcar stock in youth and adult contests. Bring your boxcars, and let’s race!
