Old Colorado City Historical Society

Dedicated to the history of the original (1859-1917) Colorado City, early El Paso County, and the culturally distinct “Westside” of Colorado Springs, OCCHS operates a history center, research library, free museum and bookstore. As part of its extensive educational offerings, OCCHS conducts Founders Day and other events, supports an extensive multimedia website, publishes “little histories” and provides speakers.

      This is a wonderful opportunity to put even Scrooge in the Holiday mood. Beautiful B&Bs decked out for the season with lights, garlands, trees and ornaments, and smiles to greet you. The theme for this year's event is "A Few of Our Favorite Things". We are excited to participate in this annual event and provide 100% of the proceeds to a worthwhile cause such as the Old Colorado City Historical Society.
