Performing will be the Sunbird's Friday evening jazz group, Casablanca, playing the standards of Cole Porter, Rogers and Hart, Gershwin, Berlin, a bunch of Miles Davis, Coltrane, Parker and Wayne Shorter instrumental stuff. With a repertoire of over 500 songs, they usually play what the audiences seem to like.

Casablanca, the jazz standards quartet, will jazz up the Olympian Plaza Reception Center as part of the Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society's continuing Second Sunday Jazz Affairs series.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Second Sunday Jazz Affairs are held monthly and feature a variety of music, jamming and dancing. Admission charges are minimal. Special events and concerts featuring nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians are scheduled regularly.
