Shivers Fund at Pikes Peak Library District

Clarence and Peggy Shivers inaugurated the Shivers Fund at Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) in 1993. The Fund benefits the African-American Historical and Cultural Collection at PPLD and provides cultural opportunities for youth. The Fund also offers special concerts throughout the year, and a Thanksgiving Celebration every other year featuring musicians, authors, and artists from around the country.
