Pikes Peak Arts Council
The Pikes Peak Arts Council acts as a fiscal sponsor to arts-oriented projects and individuals, gives awards for excellence to artists and community organizations twice yearly, and produces the Pikes Peak Arts Fest, a juried arts fair, in June. Membership in PPAC is open to anyone interested in furthering its purposes.

Art in the Hills

Chapel Hills Mall and The Pikes Peak Arts Council are pleased to announce the first annual “Art in the Hills.” This art exhibition was created as a way to say thank you to the artists who donate their work so generously to our area non-profit organizations. Artists will keep all proceeds collected from the sale of their work with no commissions applied. So come out and support our talented local artists by buying some art!

Come one, come all to help celebrate the 75h anniversary of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's national New Deal program. Besides an appearance by the late President Roosevelt himself, the program will feature Kathy Flynn, executive director of the National New Deal Preservation Association. Light hor d'oeurves, a cash bar and an awards ceremony are also part of the festivities.

Who knew there was a Nation New Deal Preservation Association!? Well, there is. And the Southern Colorado chapter of the National New Deal Preservation Assoc. Is hosting a free open house to reveal upcoming celebration of the 75th anniversary of FDR's New Deal program here in southern Colorado, next year. The location is 1819 W. Cheyenne road at the PEO Colorado chapter house, just west of Cresta. Dessert and refreshments will be served. The date is Thursday November 29th, 7:30-9:00 P.M.

The Pikes Peak Arts Council will present their annual awards for excellence in local dance, classical music, performance poetry, popular music, theater, and visual arts in a nomination/winner format plus a lifetime achievement award. Entertainment and a champagne reception, all at the newly and beautifully remodeled Fine Arts Center. $20 includes admission and one glass of champagne.
