Historic Monument Merchants Association
For over fifteen years, the Downtown Historic Monument Merchants Association (HMMA) has been creating community opportunities with money, time and publicity that have benefitted the entire area. With proceeds from some of the events HMMA has given back to the community by helping with the cost to build the new band shell in Limbach Park which will provide many generations to come with a performing arts center in Monument’s most cherished park. The Chili Cook Off proceeds have provided cash donations to Tri Lakes Cares for several years. Collections have been happening since the band shell construction completion for restrooms in the park and restrooms will be installed this year. HMMA also has a downtown beautification fund that is used for many different projects in the downtown area.
