    United States Air Force Academy Band

    The United States Air Force Academy Band is a 72-member organization consisting of full-time Air Force professional musicians. Consisting of ten performing units, it is one of two premier bands in the Air Force. The Band is an exquisitely polished and refined ensemble that superbly supports its missions of United States Air Force Academy community relations, recruiting, educational outreach and troop morale. Each member of the band brings a wealth of educational and professional experiences to the ensemble. The Band maintains a rigorous schedule of national concert tours, performing public concerts and civic and military functions for more than 2.5 million people annually from coast to coast. The Band also performs for national and regional radio and international music conferences, such as the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic and the American Bandmasters Association Clinic. In addition to this impressive schedule, the Band upholds a demanding performance schedule for the United States Air Force Academy, Air Force Space Command, and other performances and duties in the Pikes Peak region.

    An Academy Band concert truly features something for everyone!! Audience members can expect to hear a tremendous variety of musical styles such as fresh, original works composed by the world's most renowned composers, standard and contemporary band literature, traditional American classics, vocal selections and patriotic songs. In addition to preserving our musical heritage, the Academy Band seeks to touch lives through the emotional impact of music while displaying the utmost professionalism of the United States Air Force. Throughout America, The United States Air Force Academy Band represents the United States Air Force Academy with the finest in musical programming and performance.
