Independent Film Society of Colorado

The Independent Film Society of Colorado promotes the appreciation and celebration of independent film in Southern Colorado. Specifically, the purpose is to bring independent filmmakers and audiences together to cultivate a thriving film community by having events such as the annual Indie Spirit Film Festival, film seminars and film series. In addition to showing films at festivals and film series, IFSOC will work to provide channels for Colorado filmmakers to network with others within their field as well as with the general public.

      THE HORSE BOY, both the documentary and the book, are extremely inspirational - seeing the world through autism and how significantly interaction with horses has improved Rowan's fits is something short of miraculous. If you liked the film, it is now out on DVD from Zeitgeist Films. If you didn't get a chance to check it out, consider saving it to your Netflix or Blockbuster queue! Collapse
