The Black Rose Acoustic Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the education, performance, enjoyment and preservation of all types of traditional acoustic music in the Black Forest and Colorado Springs areas.
Acoustic music lovers gather to hear great music at Black Rose Acoustic Society’s open stages, held in the log cabin-style Black Forest Community Center, which was built in 1929 among the tall Colorado pines. Outstanding national and regional musicians regularly grace the stage, and they rave about the Black Rose Acoustic Society audience. Performers often experience the famous Black Rose Stomp, during which the rafters and floors shake with a rousing, sustained stomp of approval.
