Colorado Springs Creative Collective is a project with the arts community of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region and Artspace of Minneapolis, Minnesota, a creator of sustainable, affordable space for artists and creatives. As a nonprofit project, CS Creative Collective, is in fiscal partnership with Downtown Ventures, a charitable, nonprofit affiliate of the Colorado Springs Downtown Partnership.

The intention is to create affordable live/work space and creative spaces for artists, arts organizations and creative businesses in Downtown Colorado Springs, a Colorado Certified Creative District.

The project is born of a proactive stance for Colorado Springs to be a community that welcomes artists/creatives with an affordable place to work and live as Downtown Colorado Springs and our community and region transform.

Envisioned is a mixed-use arts space comprised of a minimum of 30 live/work affordable residences with additional, street-level individual/shared studios, classrooms, offices for arts organizations, and space for creative entrepreneurs in conjunction with common creative spaces. The intention is to create an environment that fosters “collisions” of the literary, visual, performing, culinary and media arts and business resulting in collaborative creative efforts, learning and personal growth – all in a walkable Downtown Colorado Springs.
