Hailed by Wynton Marsalis as an interpreter of “clarity, elegance and uncommon grace,” trumpeter and composer Sean Hennessy leads the Colorado-based group, the Hennessy Six.

Performing together regularly since 2012, the group includes Cully Joyce on saxophone, Colin McAllister on guitar, Brad Bietry on piano, Jason Crowe on bass, and Devin Malloy on drums.

Bringing its own unique brand of jazz to the stage, and featuring original music by all the group’s members in intricate arrangements that showcase the band’s versatility and virtuosity, the Hennessy Six spans the gamut seamlessly from soulful ballads, driving swing, latin, hard bop, and more.
