He has been performing in the Pikes Peak Region for thirty years solo, duo & ensemble: Tim Finnegan, Gordon Stone & Wise Blues Band, Stone Buddha, Andy Clifton Duo, Me & Julio Band Latin Fusion genre and many others. His passion is to write and perform guitar compostions with a World Beat flavor: flamenco, blues, finger-style, slide and more... John has been involved with local micro-brew festivals, providing music and sound support yearly for Colorado Springs and Manitou festivals. He performs once a month at Bristol, home of Laughing Lab (award winning micro-brew) where he creates new music each performance. The Smokebrush Foundation and the Pikes Peak Arts Council endorsed "John Stone: A Musical Retrospective" Dec. 11, 2007 bringing 30 years of musical friends and family together, celebrating the viable living musical community we all share, presenting a musical heritage to be cherished in a growing musical landscape. http://www.johnstonemusic.net
