About the artist:

Anne is a violinist who loves nothing better than enhancing performances. She has played music with and to accompany: bands, poets, actors, lecturers. dancers, magicians, stilt-walkers, and yoginis. Her favorite styles to play are Romani (Eastern European Gypsy), Middle Eastern, Scottish Country Dance, English Country Dance, Balkan, Russian, and Klezmer. In 2007 Anne began "Maidens of the Springs", an ensemble which plays the lovely music for English Country Dancers. Anne has been featured at the MAT!, on Culture Cast, at the Oklahoma City Civic Center, coffee houses, medieval fairs, weddings, birthday parties, fundraisers, and on State Street in Madison, Wisconsin.
