About the artist:

A Colorado artist of landscapes, figurative, animals/wildlife, and western art in various media. Dana grew up outdoors, so it is no surprise he finds beauty in nature, in whatever way it is displayed. He has lived in Appalachian Kentucky and Tennessee, Fairbanks (Alaska), Washington State, California, and eventually in his beloved Colorado, traveled in most other States and the Canadian Rockies, yielding him a tremendous variety of landscape and wildlife to memorialize in his artwork. He became 'family photographer' at a fairly early age, and discovered a bent for painting a little later. It seemed inevitable that he would eventually blend his love of hunting and fishing and camping and hiking and photography and painting–into life-long interests.
