With the Wind

This piece reflects a feeling of freedom, inspired by the feeling of being on a sailboat, the strong pillar or mast supports the free flowing sail as it catches the wind and in the case of the sculpture, also the light through the many blown and stained glass elements.

Artist Jodie Bliss – Bliss Studio and Gallery is home to Artist Metalsmith Jodie Bliss. Jodie works primarily in forged and fabricated steel, often accompanied by copper, glass or other mixed media. This remarkable artwork is located at the south entrance of UVC in front of Starbucks and also across the same intersection to the south.
