Buena Vista Elementary School - A Public Montessori School

Buena Vista Elementary is a public Montessori school located on the west side of Colorado Springs just minutes from downtown. We are currently serving children from age 3 through 6th grades. We believe children learn by doing, they learn from each other and they learn at their own pace. Our Montessori teachers and multi-age classrooms guide children to master skills and concepts not only by using hands-on manipulative materials that are just right for them, but also by exploring resources beyond the school walls in our gardens, city and wonderful open spaces our area has to offer. Buena Vista is a school where we strive everyday to cultivate our children’s natural love of learning in a joyful and supportive community.
