    Acacia Park

    Acacia, Colorado Springs' first park, was donated by General William Jackson Palmer, the city's founder, in 1871. Band shell, picnicking, playground, public telephone, shuffleboard building, shuffleboard courts, sidewalks. 3.67 acres. Uncle Wilber Fountain in Acacia Park. For information on the Uncle Wilber, click here. Acacia's Shuffleboard Facility runs annually from the beginning of June to mid August. Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The cost is only $.25 per game per person. For questions e-mail jcarricato@springsgov.com or call 385-6054.
