Helen Keller Elementary School

The staff of Keller Elementary School works with students, parents, guardians, and the community to provide an educational program that emphasizes high academic achievement and individual student growth particularly within the development of basic literacy skills. To support our Keller Brand, we enhance the well-rounded learning experiences of our students with strong programs in Art, Music, and Physical Education.  These are provided to develop the whole student and remain an important part of our curriculum.

Our professional staff utilizes technology on a daily basis to encourage students to use technology as a tool for communication, information gathering, and higher levels of learning. Keller’s inclusive model of service delivery for special education students, gifted and talented students, and English language learners leads to high levels of achievement.

The overall academic growth and social development of each student is enhanced through the high involvement of our families and community members, particularly the support of our Parent Teacher Organization, School Accountability Committee, our parent/guardian volunteers, and our community based partnerships.
