PAES164 is a local 719 artist who remains busy creating murals, tattoos, commissions and everything art related. PAES164 is currently working to revamp Knobhill Urban Arts District via large murals and other art projects.

Michael Beenenga

Michael Beenenga has been creating art since he was very young. Since that time, Michael has been able to work with a variety of different mediums on various projects. Ultimately, the medium that he loves the most and feels a calling to specialize in, is painting. The ability to transform a wall or a room into a scene, and produce an environment of excitement and inspiration for a client is Michael's passion.

Jasmine Dillavou

Jasmine Dillavou is a Boricua mixed-media artist based out of Colorado Springs. Dillavou received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and has shown work in numerous exhibitions across the United States. Through intimate performances and immersive installations, her work explores the complexities of the Carribean Diaspora and identity politics.

Carmen Franco

I paint from my life experiences and for fulfillment. It is in these paintings that I expose part of my soul into who I am and what I believe. Painting is the sheer satisfaction of knowing that I can. It is the essence of my being and being able to have the ability to create. It is the whole of who I am. I have spent over 27 years teaching art in the public high school system. Prior to that time I worked as a commercial artist for different corporations available to me. I have also managed to be awarded two Masters of Arts degrees and a Bachelors of Art in Art. I have entered local and national shows in an effort to display my works at a national level. I often renew my art with traveling and observance of art through the eyes of other cultures. It always amazes me at the complete diversity in style and ideas that are often presented at these times and the ability of mankind itself. I am currently retired from teaching and in its place I work instead to diligently develop my art work. Mark Giovanni

Mark Leonardo Giovanni began his career in residential home design and discovered early on his passion for design. Mark understands the deep and almost primal need to surround oneself with beautiful objects, colors and forms. He understands the need to reflect Who You Are in Your life-spaces. Mark's inner drive to create in many arena's is evident in his body of work. Mark has a BA in Psychology from Seattle University with studies in art and music. Mark has traveled extensively throughout Europe studying the great masters of art and sculpture and Europe's greatest architectural achievements including Antoni Gaude's great Sagrada Familia to Fillippo Brunelleschi's soaring Cathedral of Santa Maria de Fiore to the finest paintings at The Louvre in Paris, as well as hundreds of other classic gems throughout all of Europe.

Cynthia Hauk

Cynthia Hauk (MFA, RYT) is the Founder/Instructor of Mindful Creative Muse. She is passionate about sharing simple, fun and inspiring mindful art activities to enhance self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-expression. Cynthia received a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Interdisciplinary Arts from Lesley University College of Art and Design, and has a combined 12 years of art and mindfulness teaching experience. Cynthia is a certified Expressive Arts and EcoTherapy Facilitator, a Trauma-Informed Expressive Art Therapy Facilitator, a SoulCollage® Facilitator (an expressive art collage process founded by art therapist, Seena Frost), and holds a variety of Teaching Certifications (highlights include Art and Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Somatic Yoga, and Trauma-sensitive Yoga). Most of all, she is an artist and a creative who's wrestled with her Inner Critic and she's excited to help you reignite your creative spark! Mindful Creative Muse offers creative online courses, expressive art workshops, women's circles, retreats, and teacher trainings.

Leslie McCrea

Artist Leslie McCrea finds subtle beauty and nuanced charm where least expected. Through her quick journal sketches and paintings in watercolor, Leslie conveys the beauty of the ordinary. Exploring the intersection between life and art, Leslie finds drawing and painting require a certain slowness of seeing, of being, for revelation and recording. So she strives to live the way she creates: finding goodness, beauty, and truth declared in even the most mundane scenes.

Cara McKinley Javernick

A transplanted surfer from South Florida, Cara has always been enthralled in looking at the natural world. After completing her Post Baccalaureate Studies at Indiana University Bloomington and Master of Fine Arts concentrating in Ceramics at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Cara moved to the rocky terrain of Colorado to recreate her observations in clay and multimedia. Using video, sculpture, installation and assemblage allows her the opportunity to indulge in the essence of an object and her world to create a shared reality. She uses traditional and non-traditional media such as household objects, found items, and natural materials like sticks, sand, clay, tinfoil, metal, and glass express a way to enjoy and pay homage to nature, while speaking to the domestic realm.

Pat Musick

Pat Musick is a Colorado Springs native rooted in the arts here through her painter father and ceramist mother. While studying early Irish manuscripts in England and Ireland, she was introduced to enameling—glass fused to metal at high heat. Her work incorporates layers of images and sometimes text, drawing on the inherent qualities of glass and metal and from letterforms and calligraphy, arts traditions, literature, the natural world and excursions into the backcountry. She lives and works in the home and studio her father built onto a sandstone boulder at the edge of the Garden of the Gods.

Curtis Singmaster

Curtis Singmaster is an artist, builder, and creative problem solver. Curtis's work evolves from energy, wit, curiosity, and humor. His approach to objects and material is restless and unconventional. Sly, silly, rambunctious, deadpan, average...these words evoke emotion in his work. Curtis likes to create things that possess the possibility of changing ones perception, and discovering unforeseen potential. He has a passion for old techniques such as upholstery and joinery as well as loud colors like pink. He contrasts the two, along with contemporary objects and ideas. Curtis also likes using found objects. He often applies the “right” material to the “wrong” technique, or vise versa. Curtis likes to play with scale, especially when working outside. He often creates sculptural interventions of minimal means in public sites troubled with neglect, interjecting humor or beauty in an attempt to rejuvenate the site into a new experience. He is equally concerned with where an object is, as opposed to what an object is. He likes the idea of touching someone artistically when they least expect it, sometimes grouping indoor works in a salon style fashion allowing the work to project a collective voice. There are times when Curtis feels it necessary to be physically involved in his work. His presence serves as a catalyst or dialog for or with a specific object. An object sometimes needs to be put to use. He strives to keep things physically simple and stripped down, but conceptually rich. Curtis is also a teacher and a custom furniture builder. He received his MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and his collegiate teaching certificate from Brown University. He has substantial teaching experience at the high school and college levels. Marni Szafranski

I am a highly imaginative creator of works ranging from funky abstract acrylic paintings to whimsical children's murals. I also have a flair for handwriting and the invention of fonts, serving clientele in the areas of chalkboard signage as well as unique invitation addressing. I left college at the age of 19 as a consequence of my sister's sudden death. Life has since taken me to a rich variety of cities, cultures and communities; which have gifted me with the joy of inspiration. I choose thick, vibrant colors to convey a story. I strive to bring new vision to the eyes which look upon my expressions. My original creations brighten private homes and businesses, in the form of canvas paintings and/or distinctive wall art. My most extraordinary and celebrated creation attends Junior High.
