Visual Arts: Ceramics, Crafts, Illustration, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Visual Arts Instructor; Batik
I paint from my life experiences and for fulfillment. It is in these paintings that I expose part of my soul into who I am and what I believe. Painting is the sheer satisfaction of knowing that I can. It is the essence of my being and being able to have the ability to create. It is the whole of who I am.
I have spent over 27 years teaching art in the public high school system. Prior to that time I worked as a commercial artist for different corporations available to me. I have also managed to be awarded two Masters of Arts degrees and a Bachelors of Art in Art. I have entered local and national shows in an effort to display my works at a national level. I often renew my art with traveling and observance of art through the eyes of other cultures. It always amazes me at the complete diversity in style and ideas that are often presented at these times and the ability of mankind itself.
I am currently retired from teaching and in its place I work instead to diligently develop my art work.
