The Dragonfly Aerial Company provides professional, elegant & exciting aerial entertainment for a variety of events such as corporate trade shows, receptions, banquets, award shows, business grand openings, conventions, hospitality suites, and more! We are so excited to offer our artists for the Curbside Culture program. Due to the nature of our art, our artists perform at heights that are easily seen from distances making Dragonfly a perfect choice for curbside culture. Let us take your event higher than you ever imagined with a touch of elegant aerial dance.
Our performers consist of Cirque du Soleil alumni, professional aerial specialists and consultants for premium cruise lines, aerial studio owners and formally trained and certified instructors. Our senior artists all carry over a decade of experience performing professionally with a technical dance, acrobatic and/or theatrical background. From the grandest of ballrooms to the Festive Street Fair, we have the rigging and performance experience to bring astounding aerial performances to enhance any venue and event. Whether you choose a suspended artist bound in chains, a tabletop contortionist or a breathtaking soaring pas de deux, Dragonfly events are unforgettable.
As a Curbside Culture host site, you will be responsible for (1) providing an open and level area where we may construct our portable rig. (12’ X 15’ open space for a 15’ high artist and/or 17’ X 20’ open space for a 20’ high artist), and (2) gathering a small audience to enjoy the performance (please follow current social distancing guidelines). Pricing options are listed below, and all financial transactions should be conducted directly with Mistia Fallon, Director of the Dragonfly Aerial Company:
Additional time is discounted 30% (as there are no additional rigging fees for added time).
Artists need 30 minutes to set-up the portable rigging system and 20 minutes to breakdown.
Launched in 2020 by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Curbside Culture brings the performing arts out into the community by facilitating small-scale live performances outside of private residences, businesses, cultural venues, assisted living facilities, and local gathering spots. Perfect for birthday parties, graduations, weddings, and a variety of special events, Curbside Culture offers community members an intimate and enjoyable cultural experience, and a meaningful way to help support local artists.
All Curbside Culture performing artists operate as Independent Contractors, and the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region is not responsible for their actions or the content of their performance. Curbside Culture performing artists, host sites, and audience members are encouraged to follow all State, county and local protocols for mitigating the spread of the COVID-19 virus. If the performance site becomes unsafe at any time, performing artists reserve the right to leave immediately–without any obligation to reschedule or provide a refund. By scheduling a Curbside Culture performance, you are agreeing to these terms. For questions about Curbside Culture, please contact the performing artist directly, or email info@CulturalOffice.org.
