Frank Moore

Frank Moore has been a performing artist in Colorado Springs since 1973 and lived there since 1962. He has performed at many clubs and has completed two previous recording projects from a single “Run, Run, Run” in 1976 and an album, “Old Friends and Memories”, in 1987, a collaborative effort with local artist, Phil Volan, and produced by Steve Barta, a national performer and pianist.

Frank has performed with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic featuring the song “Fire on the Mountain”. “Fire on the Mountain” was composed by Frank, a Mountain Shadows resident, as a result of his experience during the fire and the emotional experiences of his neighbors, some of whom lost their homes as a result. This recording is available for sale at his shows. In 2015, Frank released his second full length CD, of all original material, entitled “Another Colorado Morning”. The CD was co-produced with Phil Volan and features several prominent local musicians. He promoted It’s release in concert at the Studio Bee in the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs.

Curbside Culture is a program that brings the performing arts out into the community by facilitating small-scale live performances, in appropriately social-distanced circumstances, outside of private residences, places of business, and other gathering spots. Download the program flyer.

A program of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Curbside Culture offers community members an enjoyable arts experience, and a meaningful way to support local performing artists during the COVID-19 pandemic, and beyond.

As a Curbside Culture host site, you will be responsible for (1) providing electricity by running an extension cord to the street or performance location, and (2) gathering a small audience to enjoy the performance (please follow current social distancing guidelines). Pricing and performance options are listed below, and all financial transactions should be conducted directly with the performer, in a mutually convenient manner.

$50 for a 30 minute performance
$75 for a 60 minute performance
$100 for a 90 minute performance
