Jasmine Stader

Jasmine Stader is an artist that is eager to create and share her work with the world.

She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a B.S. in Art & Design Education with a concentration in Drawing and Painting.

Jasmine loves working and experimenting with different materials. Processes of dying, soaking, burning, and adding texture are utilized to extract natural qualities of the materials. She layers, stitches, and deconstructs canvas and cloth. Her inspiration is derived from the grand and humbling processes in nature. When Jasmine looks to nature, she can make sense of the world. The balance and cycles provide grand metaphors for social and personal lives.
