I am a ‘Jill’ of all trades and I am always wanting to learn something new. I have many hobbies, but my favorites are quilting, doll making, and fashion sewing.
I have a profound appreciation for art and all things creative. I gain inspiration from everywhere. Because of my passion for creativity, I always have many projects going at once.
My art quilt, “Lady Day,” was featured in the book titled, “500 Art Quilts,” by Lark Publishing. I began the first African American internet quilt group in 1999, and was president of the GALA quilt guild in Phenix City, Alabama.
I now create art, modern and traditional quilt designs using Coreldraw X8 and Inkscape combining my passion for graphic design and quilting.
