Last fall, Sarah joined the Colorado Springs Philharmonic as principal horn, as well as joining the faculty of CSU-Pueblo as adjunct instructor of horn. Before moving cross-country to Colorado, Sarah earned her Master of Music from the Yale School of Music and her Bachelor of Music degree from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts.

She has studied with some of the great horn pedagogues such as Denise Tryon, Eric Reed, Bill Purvis, and Radek Baborák in Prague, Czech Republic. During her summers, Sarah has participated in the Crested Butte Music Festival, the Pierre Monteux School, the National Music Festival, the Kennedy Center Summer Music Institute, and others.
