Stephanie Merchant Johnson

Stephanie Merchant Johnson, known as "The Artist, the Writer, the Cake Decorator," discovered her artistic gifts in a basic art class in high school and has been supplementing her knowledge of techniques in community colleges and art schools ever since. She has completed several murals since her first in 1994 and is a volunteer artist on the "12 Mural Project" with Douglas Rouse. Preferring acrylics, she also works in oils, charcoal, pastels, and the airbrush. Over the last 3 years, she has worked/volunteered with Bemis School of Art, Imagination Celebration, and Cottonwood Center for the Arts, where she maintained a studio from 2009-2010.
