Art on the Hoof is a fundraising art show and auction that showcases local artists and helps support your local Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) chapter!

It features nature and animal inspired works of art. Guests receive admission, food and drink, and an art drawing ticket. Art drawings will occur throughout the evening. When a ticket is chosen, the guest chooses a work of art.

Art on the Hoof is a fundraising art show and auction that showcases local artists and helps support your local Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) chapter!

The drawings will continue until all guests have chosen a piece of art to take home! This event also includes a live band, live artists demonstrations, conservation speaker, and a silent auction.

Please come out to support your local artists, zookeepers, and conservation organizations!

The American Association of Zoo Keepers, Inc. (AAZK) is an international, non-profit volunteer organization with local chapters throughout the world promoting animal care as a profession. All profits from local AAZK chapter events go to fund the following:

Conservation: We support a variety of
conservation organizations around the world. Our current legacy projects are the Sage Grouse Initiative and the Sumatran Rhino Rescue.
Professional Development: We provide financial assistance to our members to help cover the costs of attending workshops and conferences specific to our field.

Ticket Sales will be available May 5th-June 3rd through cmzoo.org/aazk
The food ticket will include several delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres options from Summit Catering, and will be available from 6:00-8:00pm.
The drink ticket will offer a choice of wine or beer. The bar will also accept cash for drinks from 6:00-8:30pm.
Our speaker for the event is Chris Bobko. She is a rhino keeper from Denver Zoo, and the vice president of the International Rhino Keeper Association. She will be giving a presentation on the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary.
Red Moon Rounder, a local folk-rock Colorado band will be playing throughout the night!
This event will also have silent auction tables that will be live from 6:00-8:15pm.

Online tickets are available May 5 - June 3, 2021 at 5 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door, if not sold out.

Each ticket provides: 1 admission, 1 art drawing ticket, 1 food and 1 drink ticket.

Save your receipt on your phone (or print out a hard copy) as proof of purchase.
Your purchased in-event tickets will be available only at the venue during check-in.
Doors open for check-in at 6:00 p.m.

Note: The first 100 Art on the Hoof tickets purchased are guaranteed an art drawing ticket. Tickets bought after this will have no guarantee of going home with a piece of artwork. A notice will be posted when 100 tickets have been sold.

Tickets are non-refundable except if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Masks are required when not eating or drinking at the event.
