The Palmer Lake Art Group presents their annual Winter Fine Art Show opening on Friday, February 2 and running through February 23.
Cottonwood Center for the Arts is accepting entries into its upcoming show, Pure Color, Bright Light, works inspired by Henri Matisse, whose Post-Impressionist painting is revolutionary, both in its unorthodox use of color and expressive content. Artists’ works for this call for entries should avoid imitation of Matisse, but rather take inspiration from his palette, subject matter, and emotional expression. All media will be considered.
