A Night In Jersulam!

Israel is a melting pot of many years of different cultures and cuisines all leaving their own mark on the region.

In this class we are going to talk about the different influences that Israeli food takes from Asia, African, the Mediterranean, and Europe and transforms them into their own unique cuisine.

There will also be a talk about the spices/spice blends used in Israeli cooking.

This is a hands-on class for the advanced cook using advanced techniques.

On the menu:

• Kubbeh Hamusta – semolina dumplings with a spiced beef filling in a green vegetable and lemon soup
• Chicken Maqlooba – upside down rice dish with chicken, tomato, eggplant, cauliflower, and allspice
• Kofta Kebab with Spicy Tomato Sauce and Yogurt
