Join award-winning chef Lyn Harwell to share an exceptional food experience that blends various traditions into something entirely new! Louisiana Creole is a style of cooking originating in Louisiana, which blends West African, French, Amerindian, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian influences, as well as Southern cuisine. Creole cooking and eat-ing is closely identified with New Orleans culture today, with its layers of flavor and unique cooking techniques to create this fusion as a major, NO culinary force transforming legendary dishes into newfound classics. Creole cuisine specializes in spicy, flavorful and robust dishes that epitomize the soul of New Orleans. Lyn will feature Jambalaya, Nigerian chicken on skewers, greens with spicy coconut milk dressing and a few other ethnic surprises to complement the dinner. Seeds is a creative concept celebrating two years of operation with this mission: To impact and solve hunger insecurity by transforming lives in a collaborating community; to buy fresh and locally grown products; to provide healthy, affordable meals in an inclusive, lively environment; and to highlight newer healthy food trends and culinary experiences.
