Americana: Roots of American Music

Join the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs for a summer evening of classical music with a mix of folk, country, fiddling, bluegrass, and ragtime at Glen Eyrie.

“Americana: Roots of American Music,” will feature the Chamber Orchestra’s versatile concertmaster Jacob Klock and local country folk guitarist Joe Johnson.

They will join the Chamber Orchestra strings for an unforgettable evening of music exploring American music from composers such as Scott Joplin, John Williams, and Mark O’Connor, who composed and recorded the award-winning Appalachian Waltz album with Yo-Yo Ma and Edgar Meyer.

Gather with us on August 25th in one of Colorado’s most historically unique venues, The Great Hall of The Glen Eyrie Castle, for this incredible evening celebrating American music.
