Join us for this celebratory moment for the creative community and its diverse partners, and be one of the first to experience the new vision for our region’s exciting decade ahead! - 5:00-5:30 Pick up your copy of the Arts Vision 2030 Cultural Plan for the Pikes Peak Region, and mix and mingle with local leaders and creatives. Cash bar and appetizers will be available for purchase from The Gold Room.
- 5:30-6:00 The formal program will include a live presentation of the Arts Vision 2030 Declarations, a performance of the new poem “The Time is Now” by Ashley Cornelius (the new Pikes Peak Poet Laureate and Arts Vision 2030 Steering Committee member) and remarks by the project leadership team including two announcements about implementation of the Plan in the months ahead.
The formal program will be livestreamed starting at 5:30 p.m. on the Cultural Office’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/channel/UC3z8Y7W6TIKZHT_kmAejxqA) and Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/artsculturefun), thanks to the support of BornesPro Media.
American Sign Language interpretation will be provided by Access 2 Sign Language for the in person audience; closed captioning will be provided for the streaming audience.
