Basic Sign Language Workshop

What participants will learn:

• Participants will produce and recognize the hand shapes of the Manual Alphabet.
• Participants will acquire knowledge of the rules of American Sign Language (ASL).
• Participants will produce and recognize 24 commonly signed phrases.
• Participants will produce and recognize signed numbers.
• Participants will acquire knowledge of ADA effective communication requirements for employers, businesses and state/local government entities.
• Participants will increase knowledge of auxiliary aids and services.
• Participants will increase knowledge of appropriate use of sign language
  interpreters.
• Participants will acquire knowledge of available tax credits.
• Participants will become familiar with local sign language resources.
