A Broadmoor Garden Club open meeting for the community featuring a presentation by author Marta McDowell and her lecture: ‘Beatrix Potter’s Gardening Life, the Plants and Places that Inspired the Classic Children’s Tales’

New York Times bestselling author and renowned landscape historian Marta McDowell will present a one of a kind lecture and slide presentation exploring Beatrix Potter's interest in plants and gardens. She will discuss Potter's botanical art, the flora, and horticulture that appear in her "little books" and Potter's garden in England's Lake District.
