Call for Entries: Manitou Art Center 30th Anniversary Poster

For Manitou Art Center’s 30th anniversary, they are issuing their own commemorative poster, a tribute to the poster that announced their opening in 1988.

But the MAC is not stopping there. The MAC is all about creativity and community involvement. So they are asking artists and designers to submit their own interpretations of 30 years of the Manitou Art Center. All entries will be hung in the gallery this summer. The winning entry will be screen printed in a run of 100 and sold to raise funds for the MAC. The second and third place winners will be giclée printed in runs of 50 each and sold to raise fund for the MAC.

The first place winner will receive $500 and a 24 x 36 inch screen print; second place $300 and an 18 x 24 inch giclée print; third place $100 and an 18 x 24 inch giclée print.

In order to qualify for first place, the art must be drawn with vectors and use no more than 5 spot colors. To qualify for second or third place, the art must be high enough in resolution to print at 18 x 24 inches (about 5400 x 7200 pixels or drawn with vectors).
