Chamber Music

First Christian Church is presenting their annual chamber music program, featuring small ensembles of woodwinds, strings, brass, piano or organ, performing works from the Classical period to the present day.

Members of the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs and Friends will perform movements from the following:

• Clara Schumann’s Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano
• Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, played by woodwind quintet
• Alexander Von Kreisler’s Trio for Flute, Oboe and Piano
• Bohuslav Martinů’s Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano
• Ludwig van Beethoven’s Trio for Clarinet, Cello and Piano
• Max Bruch’s Trios for Clarinet, Viola and Piano
• Josef Rheinberger’s Suite for Violin, Cello and Organ
• Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola
• Antonin Dvorak’s Quartet for Violin, Viola, Cello and Piano
