A turn-of-the-twentieth-century favorite of artists and writers, the spirit was banned in the United States in 1912 because it was believed to be hallucinogenic…and only recently has it become legal once again in America. This high-alcohol, anise-flavored liquor offers a delightful history and awesome presentation that makes for one very unusual tasting class!

The Curious Palate is a tasting class series that is designed to explore the world of wine, beer and spirits and learn your palate in an intimate and friendly atmosphere. The Curious Palate is for the taster who wants to take their personal wine, beer and spirits experience to a new level by building knowledge…while having fun! Space is limited; paid reservations are required. Curious Palate Tasting Classes are $25.00 per person and includes the beverage tasting, paired food bites, and engaging education.
