Design Week 2019 presents "A Talk and Conversation with Chella Man"

Already making his mark in the industry, newly-signed model Chella Man has brought significant attention to his personal documentation of his experience in gender transition. With over 173K subscribers and 2.5 million views on his YouTube documentation of his one year mark on testosterone and his voice changes, Man is becoming a true representation for many communities.

Being deaf, genderqueer, Chinese, and Jewish, Man found that he didn’t have role models to look up to and realized he needed to stand as a voice and a true representation for himself and for others. “Be your own representation” would become Man’s motto.

Man is currently attending school in NYC, studying Virtual Reality Programming, and strives to “explore new areas formed by the intersection of art and technology.” Man hopes to make a real impact in representation and hopes to design his own clothing line in the near future.
