Even technologically challenged people can create their own website!
For people who need a professional presence online, but don’t have the budget yet to hire a designer, this class will give you the tools to DIY your own website with little to no cash investment.
We’ll discuss the basic elements every website needs, as well as what design choices make a website great or terrible.
Annie will introduce and explain how to use her favorite website template service, which has layouts for art portfolios, food menus, blogs, and more.
You will leave class with the skeleton of an actual real-life functioning website–all you’ll need to do is insert text and photos!
You’ll also leave with a cheat sheet of next steps, upgrade strategies, and support resources to help keep your new website fresh and happy.
Please bring a laptop or tablet, and note taking supplies. If you bring a tablet, please install the free app “Weebly” before the start of class.
