This is an eight week course where participants will learn various techniques in drawing from observation, techniques in perspective and shading; plus one positive-negative ink drawing.
Steffany combines references to art history, drawing practice, observational theory, plus your unique sensibilities and influences with your experience of this course. This is a make and take experience where students walk away with finished drawings.
Students may complete as many final drawings as they would like and time allows.
Steffany Suze Boucher is a visual artist and certified sound therapist. She has shown her work throughout the United States in both solo and group exhibits including Illinois, Colorado, Brooklyn, and New York City.She received her MFA in Sculpture from Parsons School of Design in New York City and her BFA from Western Illinois University.
Her 19 years of teaching includes Parsons School of Design, NYC, Bemis School of Art, and Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs in addition to K-12 schools and educational programs in Art and Design, Sculpture and Drawing, in addition to Art History.
