Equinox: Women’s Mabon Retreat with Sarah Hope

Equinox, also known as Mabon, Witches Thanksgiving, Cornucopia, High Mysteries of Demeter, Festival of Dionysius, is a sacred time of year when, for a brief moment, the earth is in perfect balance.

Darkness and light share the stage equally. As the ancients did, we will honor the wheel of the year, and ask it to help us to align with the rhythms of the earth. We use the energy of each season, which helps us create the next phase of our lives.

Join us for a retreat designed to help you harvest the insights from the previous year and prepare in mind, body, and spirit to meet the coming year. We will celebrate the harvest with a farm-to-table dinner courtesy of the Smokebrush Farm. We will continue our evening with a talking circle as we explore the pagan myths and legends and what they mean for us today.

We will close our evening in ceremony, honoring the dark and light aspects of the Goddess. Your morning will begin with a yoga class dedicated to sacred balance.

The retreat includes lodging in the historic Red Crags Arts & Agriculture House, three conscious meals, workshops and activities. Your ticket purchase also includes a free two-hour soaking pass in SunWater Spa’s healing mineral-water pools.
