Internationally recognized Christian Ballet Company, Ballet Magnificat!, brings their most recent work, Face 2 Face, to Colorado’s Front Range. Former tours to Colorado Springs the company has brought performances telling the story of Moses in Deliver Us, the compelling account of Corrie ten Boom in Hiding Place, an interpretation of the classic tale of the prodigal son in Prodigal’s Journey and a joyful celebration of experiential worship in Before His Throne.

Face 2 Face explores the often times envious, intriguing and triumphant world of dance. The contemporary story of two professional dancers takes the audience behind the scenes of a ballet company. Jealousy and the desire for worldly acclaim consume most of the company members. But a stark contrast is made between two dancers as they come face to face with each other. One dancer’s life is filled with an unusual joy and freedom; the other finds that her life of selfishness, alcohol, and loose-living brings her nothing but emptiness and depression. This beautiful story of redemption includes excerpts from the classical ballet Don Quixote and the powerful Biblical account of the sinful woman.
