Fall Theater Production: Identity

Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC) Theatre Department presents five student-directed plays and scenes exploring themes of Identity: who we were, who we are, who we want to be.

Scenes from Bent

This play centers around the persecution of homosexuals in Nazi Germany, taking place in a concentration camp. Horst wears his pink triangle with pride, while Max bribes the guards so he could pretend to be Jewish instead of admitting that he is homosexual in order to avoid harsher treatment. We follow the developing relationship between these two men. ***Strong adult content and language.
