Festival of Lights Family Fun Day

Enjoy a full performance schedule of music, magic, and song plus crafts and all-ages activities led by a variety of community organizations. This special tradition has brought magic to the Pikes Peak region for over 30 years!

• 10:00 am – 10:20 am – Taylor Elementary Choir (Main Lobby)
• 10:30 am – 11:15 am – Professor Higgins Magic Show (Division 1 Courtroom)
• 11:15 am – 12:00 pm – Almagre Saxophone Quartet  (Main Lobby)
• 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm – Children’s Chorale (South Stairs)
• 12:45 pm – 1:15 pm – Palmer High School Orchestra (Division 1 Courtroom)
• 1:15 pm – 2:00 pm – Four Winds Recorder Ensemble (Main Lobby)

Family-Friendly Activities

• Write and send your letters to Santa with the United States Postal Service
• Spread holiday cheer with festive face painting
• Marvel at the incredible Slim Rails Model Train display
• Learn about local wildlife with Colorado Springs Trails, Open Space, & Parks
• Learn about local history at Hands on History stations
• Activities and demonstrations presented by the Pikes Peak Weavers Guild and the Rocky Mountain Lace Guild
• High-five your favorite local sports mascots
• Create holiday ornaments and crafts throughout the two levels of the museum!
