Festival of Lights Parade
Grab a cup of hot chocolate and your family and friends for a Colorado Springs holiday tradition!
Up to 60,000 spectators will crowd the streets to watch 3,000 participants put on a dazzling display of lights, sounds and performances. Plus, nearly 200,000 viewers will watch live broadcasts that night and a re-broadcast of the parade on Christmas morning.
Bands, floats, horses and all kinds of special entries compete for top honors in their class.
The parade starts at the intersection of Tejon St. and St. Vrain in Downtown Colorado Springs and ends at the intersection of Tejon St. and Vermijo.
Festival of Lights is a series of events to celebrate the December holiday season, highlighted by the Festival of Lights Parade.
The events include cultural and artistic programs, performances and other festivities for the enjoyment and education of the general public.
