First Friday Art Show: Black Art Matters

Colorado Black Voices Matter Open Mic is collaborating with the Gallery Below for Black History month!

We will be celebrating black excellence not only on the mic, but though the space and art itself. Please come out and support this amazing event, gallery, and to help kick off black history month.

Make sure to get there early, as we will have a writing workshop by Ashley Cornelius and everyone is welcome to read on the mic after the workshop.

The open mic will be hosted by Philip J Curtis and the mic will be for black performers only as we want to lift up these voices in the community.

Then we’ll close out the night with an incredible feature poetry performance from Michael Ferguson.
